Niken Urn

FROM EAST TO ASIA – The pleasing shape of the large Niken Urn is found in vessels throughout Asia and the East. From a small base it tapers gently upward to a high shoulder, then quickly closes again to a narrow lip. Around its shoulder and neck are delicate cords and lace-like patterns that hang at intervals like pointed epaulets. The Niken, one of the finest and largest urns in the Yardware collection, will be an imposing presence where ever it is placed.
