THE OLD VILLA GARDEN – This bowl-shaped urn, with its broad lip and contrasting handles, takes its name from the Villa Borghese Gardens in Rome. Commenced in the 16th century by the Borghese family, these gardens are still one of the city’s most visited landmarks today. The graceful Borghese Urn, with its touch of antiquity, is primarily a garden ornament.
