However, the usual ornamentation has been swept away in this urn and replaced with simple line work that delivers a quiet drama of its own. The urn’s bowl is etched with flattened petals, while above them rise compressed balloon flutes, ending in an unadorned lip. With its pared-down elegance, the Botoni Urn would grace any modern or traditional garden.
