The Tanjung Lion displays its strength with rearing stance, bared teeth and piercing eyes. Its prosperity, on the other hand, is displayed in its necklace and other ornamentation, including an ‘embroidered ball’ between its paws. A pair of large Tanjung Lions could be placed together to guard a home, or a single Tanjung Lion stand alone in a Western garden, lending it an Eastern charm.
