THE BAROQUE JARDINIÈRE – This charming jardinière has all the elements of the French Baroque period in which artists used scrolling curves and pretty shapes in their elaborate ornamentation. The planter’s bowl is decorated with quilting, interspersed with small daisy flowerettes. From its dainty feet, stylised leaves flow upward to meet other leaves sweeping down from the flowing lip. The Calais Planter is a lavish jardinière that would grace any table top or window ledge.
