THE DRINKING TROUGH – In the past, drinking troughs for horses were usually spartan in design, and that simplicity and austerity lends the Spartan Planter its special appeal today. This long, low planter is decorated only with an external framework, making it just as suitable for modern gardens as traditional ones. The Spartan Planter can be used as a raised garden bed, or alternately hold potted plants that can be regularly replaced to maintain a permanent display. This is a very practical planter.
