Kandara Goddess With Dove

THE CAVE GODDESS – This Kandara, or cave dwelling goddess, could well be Parvati to whom Shiva imparted the secret of immortality. Despite the care Shiva took when whispering those secret words, a pair of doves overheard him. As a result, they too became immortal, as did the Kandara. This tall figure is as elegant as a dove herself, and her presence will bring a sense of the sublime to a garden.
