Romano Fountain with Varia Spout

THE SPRINGWATER FOUNTAIN – Fountains were once the main source of water in Italian towns, even in the city of Roma, and most were crafted on simple, classical lines. Such is the Romano Fountain. It has a tall, arched backplate from which a metal-like Varia spout feeds water into a trough below. All the rest is unadorned, but for a keystone in the crown, and stone-block outlines reminiscent of the stone mason's art. Whether placed against a hedgerow or garden wall, the Romano Fountain will add a touch of old Italy to any outdoor area.
