Venetian Fountain

THE SPRINGWATER FOUNTAIN – Fountains were once the main source of water in Italian towns, and most were crafted on simple, classical lines. Such is the Venetian Fountain. It has a tall, arched backplate with a fine-ribbed panel or 'race' down which water cascades into the trough below. All the rest is unadorned, but for a keystone in the crown and stone-block outlines, reminiscent of the stone mason's art. Whether placed against a hedgerow or garden wall, the Venetian Fountain will add a touch of old Italy to any outdoor area.
